Totalled Truck!

We are counting our blessings this month after Cort rolled his truck two and a half times. A few days after we drove to California, Cort left to work at 5 in the morning and it had been snowing that night in April. The snow plows weren't out yet and the roads were really slippery. Cort was in four wheel drive and was driving really slow when his truck started fish tailing. He let off the gas and his truck flipped around, hit the ditch bank and rolled off a pretty steep edge into a swamp. He was only about two miles from our house when this happened. Luckily he was wearing his seat belt and luckily his truck flipped around the other way because there was a steel post through the passenger side window and through his jacket that was laying on the seat up through the roof. There are so many things that could have gone wrong that didn't and we are so blessed that he is OK and walked away from this without a scratch. All the windows were shattered and luckily he was still able to roll the shattered window down and crawl out. His truck was in about two feet of swamp water, so luckily he didn't hit his head or pass out in the water. He was pretty shook up and shocked after the accident but after going back to look at the damages of the truck it was pretty amazing that he was not hurt.
Where he rolled off the road in the swamp.

Going back to collect his garage sale of stuff from the truck.

The totalled truck and damages.

We are so blessed that Cort was alright!
