Wicked Weekend

We had a "Wicked" weekend for Chelsie's birthday. I am a little slow to post but Chelsie celebrated her 29th birthday on April 20th- you old lady. We went to Bountiful to stay at their house to have a little "wicked" fun. OK enough with the puns. We had many excursions planned of course by our tour guide Nate who always has plans and keeps us booked with fun. Which is really good because my family has a hard time making and deciding decisions. So here is a recap of our fun!
Saturday morning Cort, Nate, and Joe (Nate's Dad) were in the Salt Lake City bike marathon. We won't mention who won the race so we don't embarrass the two youngest that lost. We also won't mention who LOST the race because that would make Cort embarrassed even though his back tire would barely spin by itself and his bike was all messed up. ANYWAY, they had a lot of fun riding the whole 26 miles of SLC and even got a FREE T-shirt!

We then ventured to Antelope island where we went on a fun bike ride along the Great Salt Lake and did a little rock climbing.

The reason this was such a "wicked" weekend is because we got to go to WICKED! This was my second time to see it and it was even better than the first. Such a good play! We got some sitters and went to dinner where Shannon and Kyle told us the great news. None of the seats were together because we were just lucky enough to get 8 tickets so we put the tickets in a hat and drew out where we were sitting for the show, and then met at intermission to draw a new seat.
Chelsie made us these SWEET Wicked shirts and the boys drank some green Elixir before the show to get us in the mood.

Sunday we went to Temple Square to take a tour of the conference center. The boys loved the roof the best to play in the water fountains and look at the temple.

We're glad Chelsie had a birthday and that we could all benefit from the fun of her turning 29! Happy Birthday CHUCK!
