Battle wounds

Jack is a real boy. He loves to climb on anything and explore everything. This has caused some accidents this past month. It seems like he went through a week where he was getting hurt everyday. It doesn't really phase him though because after all the bumps and bruises he would get sad for about ten seconds and then carry on being crazy. So here is some documentation of just some of the battle wounds he has received this past month.
He was sitting on the ledge in front of a glass covered fire place and barely reached his hand back and got burned really bad.
He was playing in the goats pen at my parents and got his thumb shut in the gate. He didn't really care at the time when it happened except later when he tried to suck his thumb and his nail was falling off.
He got a few bruises on his head, you can't see them very well in this picture, but he has one from falling down the stairs-he thinks he can just walk down stairs now instead of scooting backwards down, it about scared me to death! One from tripping into a display at target and hitting his head on the ledge, another bruise from falling partially off the tramp, and then a bunch of bumps and bruises from just being a boy. I know it is just part of learning to be mobile and getting around, but as his mom it makes me so sad to see him get hurt. He is so tough though and shakes it off and keeps on playing!
